The primary thing you should expect is to be loved. The prayer team's primary purpose is to abide with God and ask Him to reveal Himself to you. This could be through words of encouragement, images that help communicate truths about who God is and who you are to Him, physical healing, emotional healing. We invite you to come with high expectation for what God will do. Saint Teresa of Avila says: "You pay God a compliment by asking great things of Him."
The team will encourage you to sit or stand in a posture of receptivity (eyes closed, hands open), but we want you to be completely comfortable. The team will ask your permission to place a hand on your shoulder, and you are free to accept or decline.
You may experience a sensation of heat, tingling, or goosebumps. These are physical signs that the Holy Spirit is moving and working. Most often, people experience a sense of peace during their prayer session.
Anyone can benefit from prayer! God always has something new for you.
Parents must be present if requesting prayer for their child.
Our prayer leaders have all been equipped and trained by well-formed, orthodox and dynamic institutions of formation. Many have been exercising their charisms for many years.
