Hi! I'm Megan. I'm a creative who loves to dream up big ideas and start projects, but struggles to finish them. I grew up on the East side of Cleveland, Ohio where I enjoyed hiking the Metroparks, playing and then score keeping CYO basketball, singing in my high school's schola choir, and goofing off with and caring for my 8 younger siblings.
I'm married to my college sweetheart, Hank, who is the reason I came to South Bend in 2012 after graduating with a BA in Theology and Classics. Hank and I have 4 children: John, Catherine, Gio, and Benedict, who keep us on our toes and daily call us deeper into holiness through both their sweetness and their antics.
I first came to the parish as the office assistant in September of 2018. The job was truly an answer to prayer during a very hard time for our family. A few months later we felt so much at home at Little Flower we became parishioners. In the summer of 2019 I transitioned to a new role as the Communications Coordinator.
It has been so exciting to work as part of a parish staff team that feels more like a family than a group of co-workers, and we have worked hard to get here, which makes it that much better! I'm so grateful to be able to grow in my gifts and serve God and His Church here at St. Thérèse, Little Flower.
If you want to get me talking just ask me about St. Edith Stein, the feminine genius, what I'm currently painting, the Working Genius model, the role of media in evangelization, or the latest one liner from one of the kiddos.
