By the time this is in your hands on Sunday, I will be on my way home from the language immersion trip I helped chaperone with 13 others to Costa Rica. The kids started out with fun experiences (besides the travel day that began with a 2:30am bus trip to Chicago!) and then Monday through Friday had 3 hours of classes at the Academia Español of Nicoya, the name of the town on the western peninsula where we stayed for most of our trip.  After our morning classes we went on various excursions, including the beach, a Catholic school, and a national park.  We enjoyed the host families where we split into small groups of 2 or 3 for the students to experience home life in C.R.  I really enjoyed Don Luis y Doña Siria our "dad" and "mom" in Nicoya.
