Thanks to the generosity of parishioners, we are receiving some new articles for adoration and reposition of the Blessed Sacrament. Already in our possession is the new silver-plated monstrance from the esteemed church fabricator Granda (of Spain). The monstrance was a gift from the Couples for Christ families, mostly of the Filipino community who so joyously enrich our parish, particularly with their celebrations around Christmas. Another element used for Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament is funded in part by them and some other anonymous parishioners. It is called a “tabor” or more simply a pedestal, upon which the monstrance is placed in order to elevate and dignify the Lord even more clearly. This will be painted green marble with two silver-plated angels kneeling in adoration on either side of the monstrance.
