- Have you ever felt called to serve the parish in a deeper way?
  
  We invite all parishioners on a journey of self-discovery to discern their unique charisms, the special gifts bestowed by the Holy Spirit. These gifts are meant to be shared and used to build up the Church.
  
  Is there a ministry you've always felt drawn to? Do you have a skill or talent you'd love to use to serve God and your community? Charisms of the Holy Spirit are for others, to draw them deeper into relationship with God, for them to know His personal love for them.
  
  The Holy Spirit activates particular charisms in each of us depending on the people intended to receive the fruits of those Charisms. Discerning which charisms are active in our own lives enables us to intentionally cooperate with the work of the Holy Spirit. Only then can we surrender ourselves to His Holy Will, step out of the way and bear witness to the outpouring of those fruits.
  
  As we continue to grow and shape Ministries at Little Flower, let us joyfully adopt this language of Charism in hopes of a fruitful harvest. We are asking all parishioners to participate in to prayerfully discern how God wants you to participate in the life of the parish for your own personal discipleship and for the benefit of your parish family and local community with whom we are called to serve and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
  
  While we already thrive in some areas, there are many ways we can grow so that we can more fully live out our mission of bringing the good news of Jesus to the world in ways old and new. Through intentional Parish Ministry and Leadership, may the anointing of the Holy Spirit continue to drive us forward in our work of fulfilling the great commission of Jesus: "Go and make disciples of all nations”! May St. Thérèse continue to intercede for our parish.

- Amazing Parish
  For a better understanding of how we view ministries fitting into our mission, here are some helpful resources.
  
  These resources have been essential to our staff team as we discern how to live out our mission. We refer back to them often. Each video is really engaging and funny.
  
  The first module is called the Five Misconceptions of a Parish. This one has been so helpful for us to make courageous decisions to follow the Holy Spirit as we live parish life.
  
  The second module is called Teamwork and the Five Dysfunctions of a Team. This is going to be really helpful for you as a ministry leader. Grace builds on nature, so having a human foundation as a team will greatly help your team listen to and obey the Holy Spirit!
