High School Youth Ministry
All high school-age young people in grades 9 through 12 are invited and encouraged to participate in Little Flower's high school ministry, SouLFood@LittleFlower!
Our goal at St. Therese is for each young person to encounter the life-changing power of God’s love, and for that love to compel them to share that love with others. To facilitate this, our youth nights focus on an encounter with Jesus, in adoration, prayer, talks, and testimonies. We also have plenty of fun, for a Christian life is a joyful life! As Pope Francis said:
“The joy of the Gospel fills the hearts and lives of all who encounter Jesus. I invite all Christians, everywhere, at this very moment, to a renewed encounter with Jesus Christ…No one should think that this invitation is not meant for him or her, since no one is excluded from the joy brought by the Lord. The Lord does not disappoint those who take this risk; whenever we take a step toward Jesus, we come to realize that He is already there.”
Our youth nights are every Sunday from 6:00 p.m.-7:30 p.m. in the youth lounge!

Ministry does not limit itself to Sunday nights or group activities. If you are a high schooler wanting to connect more deeply with the Catholic faith and/or Little Flower parish, please contact us!

Registration in youth ministry
All high school-age teens are welcome to all activities regardless of whether they are registered in youth ministry. Registered teens receive discounts on many of our activities and they receive a copy of the Catholic Youth Bible. Registration involves completion of two forms (parent form and teen form) and a fee of $40 for the whole year ($25 for spring semester only) *please see forms for scholarship information
Confirmation preparation is part of the total youth faith formation process. It is built into the 8th grade program to emphasize the community dimension of the sacrament. Service, a retreat, and faith-sharing with a sponsor or mentor are important components of the preparation. The date of confirmation varies, usually in May or June, in accordance with the schedule of the bishop.
Middle School Youth Ministry
All middle school students in grades 6 through 8 are invited and encouraged to participate in Little Flower's middle school ministry. We typically meet every month during the school year from noon to 1 p.m. in the Upper Room for pizza, games, and prayer!
