Reflections from our Mission Trip:
"I'm not sure why, but I can't figure out who benefited more, our crews or the kids and adults who we were helping. It sounds odd, but I think it was our crews who got more out of it. Sure the people have gotten to know us, but we got to know them and make their lives less difficult...
"...The best part was seeing a neighborhood come together and pitch in by supplying lunch and company. Seeing Mr. Smith smile as we were building his stairs just made it all worth it.
"The work is nice but eventually it will be needed again. The memories and experiences are the real importance."

"The mission work we did was not only for those living in Welch, WV, but for each other. My group arrived to our site to find we had no tools to work on any of our assignments, so we looked around and found what we were able to do without tools - the boys started clearing the irrigation with just their hands. Throughout the week every member of my group was Christ to someone in some way.
"Through the long, humid days of tedious work, with people most of us didn't know very well, everyone came together to share Christian life with each other and spread it to others surrounding us. We opened up in prayer and shared stories (and a song) during work. The experience from this trip was unforgettable."
